Well, it has been a long time since I sat down to write a blog post. It feels like forever! Wow! I took a 7 or 8 years hiatus from blogging, and the reason is that I'm busy haha *puke. But it's true. As you know guys, I live in Jakarta since 2014, and now I'm in my last term Digital Media Design Program, and also I work freelance and part-time as a graphic designer. I'm still adjusting tho. Learning how to balance the whole work, projects, and social life. So I have to keep up.
So, since I have disappeared for a year, I'd like to remind myself of everything during that time. I started my first blog when I was in High School I guess, Blogging wasn't really a thing, but it was fun to connect with people on the internet.
Looking back on my graveyard of failed blogs, They were extremely inauthentic. I was afraid of expressing myself and my thoughts, So instead I would write bullshit articles about topics I saw other blogger does. I realized something during my hiatus that you may or may not be able to relate to.
I feel like.. I want to be honest about my content from now on. I mean.. I want to post something that I like.. no pressure, no expectation, no bullshit. I want to express myself here not to impress people. I want to explore my personal thoughts and feelings, and also explore the content that I'm passionate about or even can inspire other people. Cause this is a really great platform.
But I'm glad to be back... I miss this creative energy... I'm so pumped and I can't wait to post something for my blog.
